Reporting to the Global Head of Sourcing, the Senior Sourcing Manager EMEA is accountable for operational delivery, budget management, internal relationship management and leadership of regional sourcing teams. You'll create the people strategy for the portfolio and drive the achievement of client fulfilment strategy and all contractually agreed sourcing-led performance measures.

Working as a trusted partner with Client Services Leadership team, you'll act as a point of contact and escalation point for senior internal/external stakeholders, where required.

This position is a great opportunity with a potential scope to support recruitment attraction teams and to grow within the role to support other regions.

Key Accountabilities

Things you will do:

Leadership - People

  • Own and cascade communications to Portfolio, ensuring cascade of functional objectives, goals, strategic and commercial updates to wider team
  • Leading, coaching, and developing direct reports ; Team 121's, Coaching and Development Sessions
  • Team Meetings & Engagement Activity inc. All Hands. Skip level meetings with Team Leaders across Portfolio
  • Input into and conduct Talent Review Meetings each Quarter with a focus on talent development and mobility across broader Portfolio & function
  • Conduct quarterly performance appraisals, mid-year and end of year reviews.

Leadership - Delivery Management / Performance, Commercial and Finance

  • Deliver fulfilment plan. Understand business demand and outlook and manage resources and team structure
  • Execute and embed key changes driven by Strategy team relating to innovation, CI, transformation, or changes to ways of working across client account or portfolio
  • Review health of an account. Including people capability, KPI, SLA, Holiday, Sickness, Stakeholder Analyses, Location strategy, Customer Experience, People Engagement - development of a CI roadmap to share with strategy colleagues
  • Through others, lead and drive the team to ensure that productivity, account profitability and customer satisfaction are delivered in line with agreed commercials
  • Have a solutions mindset to issue resolution, supporting Managers and Team Leaders to take accountability and resolve relevant business challenges as appropriate.
  • Alongside CST, manage scope, governance, and compliance of the contract through team activity; identify and tackle scope creep

Partner as a Trusted Adviser - Internal Stakeholder Partnerships

  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships across account
  • Support Solution Design, Strategy and Performance Management as needed in designing and approving sourcing operations element of solutions in line with agreed principles, location strategy and spans of control

Excellence in Sourcing - Delivery

  • Review of current Sourcing tools and utilisation
  • Act as an SME in Sourcing Operations and execution of broader AMS strategy across agreed scope.

Skills & Experience

What you need to have to be successful:

Must haves

  • Established Talent Acquisition Leader with a proven track record of leading recruitment or sourcing teams focused on candidate experience, direct delivery, and candidate attraction.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Talent/Recruitment Solutions with strong appreciation and knowledge of sourcing strategies and tools
  • Proven ability to work in a highly complex matrix organisation, managing teams with a mix of direct/indirect reports
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Able to produce and analyse complex and varied business orientated management information across multiple sources to assess and manage performance, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • The ability to lead through others with experience of managing, coaching, and developing people managers at Team Leader and Manager level
  • Strong influencing and persuading skills, recognised as a Trusted Adviser by senior internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage escalations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver the best outcomes for AMS and our clients

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Investment banking recruitment/sourcing
