What you will do:

Our UK Procurement organisation has responsibility for the lowest possible cost base and maximizing the value out of supply agreements for Tata Steel; delivering a professional procurement service to businesses and leading several pan-Tata Steel procurement sectors; and also leading a stronger drive for supply chain effectiveness and realisation of challenging group and business-specific targets.

Our Senior and Sourcing Leads work closely with the senior management team to engage and work with the UK Business in ensuring the Security of Supply of Goods, Materials and Services for the continuity of Business Operations. You will do this through the development, deployment and execution of UK commercial contracts encompassing the appropriate route to Market, fit for purpose Supply Base and Commercial best practices.

You will create strong Business partnerships and be regarded as a Commercial Partner in advising, guiding and challenging the Business to ensure Security of Supply, compliance to Policy and creating Value for the organization.

What you will need:

You will hold a strong background within procurement, ideally degree qualified and with membership of CIPS. You’ll have an excellent understanding and knowledge of procurement practices and how to leverage the best commercial position based on complex information in a high-paced and dynamic Company and Market position.
