Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Sonographer for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde in Glasgow, UK. This ongoing, full-time locum role offers an excellent hourly rate of £65.00 and the chance to specialise in IMGL – Sonography within a busy medical ultrasound service.

Based in Glasgow, you will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, and collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining detailed patient

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations in line with best practice and NHS guidelines.
• Support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning through high-quality imaging.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safe, effective use of ultrasound equipment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in ultrasound practice.
• Provide advice, support, and informal mentoring to junior colleagues and trainees where appropriate.
