Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Diagnostic Sonographer for an ongoing locum role in Swansea. You will perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations and contribute to high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate Diploma, MSc in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography, Midwifery, Nursing, or related healthcare profession.
• Demonstrable commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform a comprehensive array of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, gynaecological, musculoskeletal, vascular, small parts, and general ultrasound.
• Analyse clinical data and imaging results to compile precise diagnostic reports, escalating significant findings appropriately.
• Uphold exceptional standards of patient care with sensitivity, safety, and adherence to professional guidelines.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration, offering expert ultrasound advice to referring clinicians and healthcare colleagues.
• Adhere to ultrasound governance standards, infection prevention strategies and patient safety protocols.

Education
