In this role, you will be driving pioneer custom advertising initiatives for our key EU brands from start to finish. You will identify customer engagement opportunities across Amazon’s customer journeys and partner closely with creative, product and account experts as the Project Lead. As Custom Program Manager you will develop and manage innovative solutions at scale that set the stage for superior advertiser performance while delighting our customers. Key job responsibilities

  1. Technically validate and thoroughly scope a variety of different customer experiences, providing in depth functional requirements and timelines, aligned with creative, technical, legal teams, testing teams, etc.
  2. Project manage complex campaigns from the conceptual phase to go live, utilizing various project management methodologies to ensure success.
  3. Constantly develop and drive new advertising product innovations that are outside of our standard product card by engaging with customers, creative teams and management to deliver unique solutions for our strategic advertising partners.
  4. Manage ad hoc requests for new advertising concepts that can be delivered rapidly in a quickly and thoroughly manner.
  5. Manage client meetings to assess goals, objectives and requests in terms of advertising solutions to drive forward required solutions.
  6. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit.
  7. Develop overall solution plans that meet operational requirements, project manage the execution of custom advertising solutions and ensure that stakeholders have all the inputs required.
  8. Present confidently to Amazon senior management, external clients, and other large audiences.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Experience in digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis.
  2. Experience with annual brand and media planning.
  3. Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions.
  4. Several years of experience in Product Management and Project Management ideally within advertising, e-commerce or the digital space.
  5. Proven track record of building & delivering strong end-to-end concept propositions, thoughtfully scoped for flawless execution.
  6. Strong communication skills, proven ability to influence internally & externally, experience partnering with a world-wide sales org.
  7. Master’s degree or MBA.
  8. Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2).
  9. You possess a proven track record on developing non-standard advertising solutions from scratch or solution-orientated products for the customer.
  10. You thrive in a start-up environment, can deal with ambiguity and provide project timelines and technical solutions arising from ideation.
  11. Proficient in English and at least one of the following languages: German, French.
