Qualifications

  • Robust knowledge of modern web architectures, microservices, and APIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong grasp of programming concepts and effective debugging techniques.
  • 3+ years of hands-on development using Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
  • 4+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and other cloud platforms.
  • IT certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, VMware VCP, CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with container and automation technologies: Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure platforms: Aruba, Cisco, Citrix, Dell, EMC, F5, HP, IBM, NetApp, Palo Alto, VMware, etc.
  • Experience with automation and scripting.
  • Previous experience in software development, consulting, or professional services.
  • Understanding of Lambda functions and application monitoring.
  • Understanding of server application administration: Apache, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, Exchange, Active Directory, etc.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex deployments for large-scale Professional Services engagements.
  • Drive product enhancements by communicating gaps and requests to Product/Development teams.
  • Deploy custom integrations using REST APIs to extend LogicMonitor functionality.
  • Advocate best practices and mentor peers on scripting concepts and performance optimizations.
  • Tackle challenging projects for enterprise customers with innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects during scoping of complex engagements.
  • Plan iterative delivery schedules to ensure agile execution.
  • Design, document, code, and test technical solutions for new tools and automations.
  • Stay informed about new features and updates to continuously elevate service quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation or application issues to maintain performance.

  • The Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for the successful delivery of LogicMonitor’s most advanced and complex technical solutions for our customers
  • The Senior Solutions Engineer works as a member of the Professional Services team, interfacing directly with LogicMonitor customers while working closely with internal Customer Success Management, Tech Support and Training teams
  • As an experienced Solutions Engineer, duties for the Senior Solutions Engineer are elevated to the most demanding projects with a focus on enterprise customers and internal projects
  • We are is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the delivery of our most advanced technical solutions
  • As a vital member of the Professional Services team, you’ll work directly with customers while collaborating closely with Customer Success Management, Tech Support, and Training teams
  • In this role, you’ll tackle our most challenging projects, support enterprise customers with innovative solutions, and drive key internal initiatives to elevate our service excellence
  • Lead Complex Deployments: Spearhead large-scale, intricate Professional Services engagements to ensure seamless execution
  • Drive Product Enhancements: Identify product gaps, feature requests, and issues, and communicate these insights to Product and Development teams
  • Deploy Custom Integrations: Implement tailored integrations using REST APIs to extend functionality within and beyond the LogicMonitor platform
  • Advocate Best Practices: Share technical best practices and lessons learned with peers to elevate team performance
  • Stay Informed: Continuously monitor new product features, updates, and enhancements by leveraging internal resources
  • Collaborate on Scoping: Serve as a key sounding board for Solutions Architects during the scoping of complex customer engagements
  • Plan Iteratively: Prioritize and schedule deliverables using an iterative development approach to ensure agile execution
  • Design & Implement Solutions: Create, document, code, and test technical solutions for new tools, automations, or system enhancements
  • Agile Execution: Implement solutions following agile software development methodologies for rapid, high-quality delivery
  • Customer-Centric Automation: Translate customer requirements into automation products that support the growth of Professional Services
  • Envision System Enhancements: Analyze business requirements to conceptualize and new system features and functionalities
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve automation or application issues to maintain optimal performance
  • Mentor & Educate: Guide team members on advanced scripting concepts, including Big O notation, multi-threading, cookie management, and data caching
