Job Description:

This is a remote position and we're considering candidates in the UK timezones. We are looking for a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join our world-class Customer Experience (CX) team. Solutions Architects at Grafana Labs provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation, and guidance to achieve their objectives using Grafana.

What does that mean? Our customers:

  • Have a professional services partner at Grafana that understands their challenges and guides them through training, roadmapping, and consulting.
  • Have a partner that is not quota/sales-based, and can genuinely prioritize their best interests.
  • Benefit from sharing relevant stories and best practices across customers, delivering white-glove service for offerings, features, and overall experience.

Our SAs need to be hands-on, understanding the ecosystem of services used by our customers, and working with them to ensure success with Grafana at the center. They should understand why Kubernetes is popular, its relation to Prometheus, the difference between logs and metrics, pets vs. cattle, and more.

Their responsibilities include managing customer onboarding, adoption, delivering training, quick-starts, project assurance, and consulting for complex technical needs. They support ongoing customer engagement to ensure continued value from our products, monitor support requests, and work with product teams for improvements.

Success in this role requires being hands-on, comfortable with command line, customer engagement, project management, and technical delivery skills.

What you'll be doing:
  • Engaging effectively with customers, including executives and IT staff.
  • Understanding business needs and translating them into requirements.
  • Designing solutions for complex requirements, including data visualization and architecture.
  • Leading functional workshops, documenting requirements, and designing solutions.
  • Working efficiently to accelerate solution delivery.
  • Adhering to standards and best practices.
  • Staying current on Grafana and related technologies.
  • Collaborating with sales, product, engineering, and support teams to drive innovation.
  • Helping customers succeed with leading-edge technologies.
What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of experience with deployment teams and project management.
  • Experience with observability (o11y).
  • Best practices for deploying and using observability stacks, preferably with Grafana products.
  • Proven success in delivering enterprise projects.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, eager to innovate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Visionary mindset.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Systems architecture design skills.
  • Ability to read code (GoLang, JS, TypeScript).

The base salary in the UK ranges from £96,000 to £115,000, depending on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, potential bonuses, and others listed on our website.
