Job summary

Solo.io is hiring a Solutions Architect to drive post-sales success for strategic customers. You will be the primary technical owner, ensuring adoption, resolving issues, and advising on architecture and best practices.

You will lead training, engage with product teams on customer feedback, and collaborate with account teams to manage renewal opportunities. A strong background in Kubernetes, Istio, Envoy, and scripting is required.

Qualifications

5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, SRE, or Senior Support Engineer.
Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio), and API gateways (Envoy).
Experience in a post-sales role with focus on customer success and adoption.
Proven ability to manage technical relationships with large, strategic customers.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical point of contact for accounts, understanding their use cases, architecture, and goals.
Lead technical issue resolution with support to ensure timely solutions.
Proactively drive product adoption by identifying new use cases and value.
Consult with customers on best practices for Solo.io products in their environment.
Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for customers.
Advocate for customers within Solo.io and provide feedback to product teams.
Collaborate with the account team to manage risks and opportunities related to adoption, renewal, and expansion.
