Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor UK in London seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to own the technical solution landscape for the Out-of-Home product, coordinating portfolio, contracts, assets, and operational processes across European markets.

You will be the technical authority, translating complex requirements into precise specifications, guiding external partners, and shaping an in-house team while ensuring security, data integrity and architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution architecture, technical design, or senior engineering roles.
• Strong background in SaaS platforms and enterprise system integration.
• Deep expertise designing API-driven architectures and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Proven ability to enforce technical standards, review designs, and manage external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical solution design for portfolio and operational systems (target-state architecture, data models, API specifications, and integration patterns).
• Maintain visibility of technical debt and drive standardisation or consolidation of systems.
• Define non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria for external partners and review their outputs before release.
• Articulate architectural constraints, trade-offs and risks to business and tech stakeholders clearly.
• Balance delivery pace with architectural coherence and data quality.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, integration maps and data dictionaries for future in-house development.
