Senior Solution Architec

6 Month contract initially

Rate: Market rates (via Umbrella company)

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with deep technical expertise and strong documentation skills to design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of complex technology solutions aligned with business goals.

Key

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise-level solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid
  
  

environments.

• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and high-level design
  
  

documentation.

• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, solution design documents, and
  
  

technical specifications.

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with architecture
  
  

standards and patterns.

• Ensure scalability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency in all proposed solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and junior architects.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for implementation.
• Participate in RFP/RFI responses, proposal creation, and client presentations.
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture standards and governance.
  
  

Technical Skills

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid experience with APIs, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Proficient in modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, DXX XX XX XX XX).
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy best practices.
  
  

Documentation Expertise

• Strong ability to create architectural blueprints, HLDs, LLDs, and solution specs.
• Experience writing clear, concise technical documents tailored to different
  
  

audiences.

• Skilled in documenting workflows, process diagrams, and data flows.
• Experience with documentation tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or similar
  
  

platforms.
