Job summary

The Talent Ladder is seeking a Principal-level Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across large, multi-stream programmes in a hybrid London or Manchester setting. You will shape delivery by guiding senior clients, sales teams, and engineering leads, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and commercially viable.

You will influence both delivery and pre-sales activities, collaborating with account teams to shape opportunities, bids, and proposals while mentoring less experienced

Qualifications

• Security clearance eligibility and UK residency for the last five years.
• UK citizenship with eligibility to obtain UK security clearance is required.
• Experience owning end-to-end solution architecture across complex programmes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across complex programmes, setting architectural direction.
• Lead key decisions, trade-offs, and risk management at programme level.
• Contribute to sales and pre-sales activity shaping opportunities and proposals.
• Coach and mentor less experienced architects to raise overall solution thinking.
