Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced technical individual contributor to join our Digital Capability team, working alongside our Digital, Data, and Platform Leads. Our Digital Capability is rapidly expanding, offering opportunities to achieve medium and long-term career goals and to shape strategic technological directions, particularly in Cloud technologies (Azure & AWS).

Reporting to the Private or Financial Services Digital Sector Lead, you will be part of the Digital Sector team, which includes other Technology Principals, focusing on private or financial services clients.

Your responsibilities include understanding customer needs, ensuring successful technical delivery, establishing technical direction, delivering technical excellence, and fostering innovation. The role involves a diverse range of work, combining strategic focus with hands-on problem solving.

You should have experience working with private or financial organizations, delivering critical or high-profile outcomes, and be familiar with application modernization and technologies commonly used in the sector.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in technology delivery areas such as digital transformation, application modernization, and product development.
• Experience with architecture, engineering, applications, integration, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of delivering high-quality, reliable, scalable, secure, and observable software solutions, including Agile, design patterns, DevOps, continuous delivery, test automation, and monitoring.
• Experience managing large, complex technical workstreams, especially in global multi-supplier engagements.
• Practical engineering skills, capable of leading development teams and resolving technical issues.
• Ability to establish technical excellence, identify risks early, and recover challenged deliveries.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders, influencing, and shaping technology outcomes.
• Business acumen to support growth through pre-sales activities, presentations, bid responses, and project planning.
• Capability to produce and validate estimates for projects and programs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Advocate for reuse, best practices, and process improvements.
• Experience in managing and mentoring team members, including performance management.
• Active involvement in the tech community and awareness of current trends, standards, legislation, and regulations relevant to the sector.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
