Job summary

Sanderson is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Solution Architect. You will design enterprise-wide technology solutions, translate business requirements into secure, scalable designs, and provide technical leadership across hybrid cloud environments.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, architects and engineering teams, drive architecture governance, and stay ahead of emerging technologies to shape the future technology landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large enterprise environments.
• Strong infrastructure, cloud and hybrid architecture experience
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns, integration and security
• Experience working within architecture governance frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Financial Services or other regulated industry experience is desirable
• TOGAF, AWS or Microsoft certifications are a bonus

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions across complex programmes
• Produce solution designs and architecture documentation
• Lead architecture governance and design reviews
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions
• Drive cloud and infrastructure strategy across hybrid environments
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other architects
• Research emerging technologies and influence future architecture
