Job summary

Delaney & Bourton is seeking a Domain/Lead Architect to drive a greenfield ERP transformation. You will lead end-to-end design, from foundations to data migrations, coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver a complex transformation across back-office systems such as Finance and HR.

You will provide functional and technical leadership at the HLD level, guide integration patterns, and ensure designs align with business goals while maintaining architecture governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive lead architecture experience in ERP transformation projects.
• Strong background in integration design and data migration at the high level design (HLD) stage.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams and aligning designs to programme goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical leadership across end-to-end programme lifecycle, including governance of 3rd parties.
• Ensure designs meet business requirements and programme objectives.
• Advise on integration patterns and designs to support ERP transformation.
• Act as technical authority to ensure LLDS meet business drivers.
• Co-lead the design authority and governance forums.
• Lead work on major integrations and data migrations across the estate.

Location: Leeds (Flexible office/home Working)

Package: Total Comp in region of £120k-£140k

Role

This is the opportunity to join a greenfield transformation for a market leading Northern business, that operate on a global scale, they are just embarking on a major technology-led business transformation programme and are now looking for a Domain / Lead Architect to lead, shape and deliver the appropriate technology solutions for the business, operating at HLD level, with a core focus around back office systems and functions (impacting Finance and HR)

This will be an end-to-end role delivery of both internal, and 3rd party teams to deliver their greenfield ERP solution. This role will also lead continuous improvement, and support the business strategy, ensuring that the technology goals are achieved.

With a lot of moving parts, across a complex enterprise estate, this role will help design everything from the foundations through to the integrations and data migrations.

Role

• Provide functional and technical leadership and guidance throughout the end-to-end programme lifecycle including leading and governing relevant 3rd parties
• Ensure submitted designs are aligned to programme goals and objectives, and meet business requirements
• Advising and recommending on integration patters and designs
• Technical authority – ensuring LLD’s are achieving business and programme drivers
• Co-lead the design authority
• Working on a number (From a HLD perspective) on significant integrations and data migrations

Experience

• Demonstrable Solutions / Programme or Lead Architecture experience – ideally on a ERP transformation or implementation
• Strong experience in Integration, and Data Migration (At HLD Level)
• Background in either Solutions, Applications, Data or Integrations

Nice to have

• Worked for a global / recognised enterprise organisation
• SAP, but this is not essential
