Job summary

Planet is a hybrid, London-based technology and payments solutions provider. We are seeking a Snr Solution Consultant to partner with Commercial teams and customers, delivering technical and solution design expertise across multicurrency solutions, DCC and MCP.

You will help prospects and clients understand how Planet's products and solutions support their business objectives, manage the full solution lifecycle, and drive successful deployments that boost revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in a solutions consultant, sales engineer or technical pre-sales role within payments.
• Strong technical understanding of payment ecosystems including DCC, MCP and e‑commerce gateways.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Commercial teams throughout the sales lifecycle for acquirer multi-currency, integrated payments and ecommerce.
• Be the regional technical and solutions expert for Planet's products, integrations and platform capabilities.
• Lead customer discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements.
• Align end-to-end payment solutions with customer use cases including DCC, MCP and POS integrations.
• Deliver compelling solution presentations and product demonstrations to varied audiences.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and contribute to proposals with architectures and content.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to feed field feedback and roadmap priorities.
• Support proofs-of-concept and pilot implementations as needed.
• Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery with documented designs and requirements.
