An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Projects team in Legal and Corporate Governance. We are seeking a dynamic, engaging, and dedicated professional to become part of our multidisciplinary legal team providing Projects advice to Council departments, Scotland Excel, and the Clyde Valley Residual Waste Project.

You will be part of a successful and motivated team working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment delivering projects such as the City Deal, the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland projects, the new Paisley Grammar School Community Campus, and various regeneration projects in Renfrewshire. The role will have a property focus but will also offer opportunities to gain experience in other areas of project work, including projects, construction, planning, and procurement. Projects work is flexible and exciting, providing opportunities to develop expertise across a broad range of legal areas.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Practicing Certificate from Law Society of Scotland, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • LLB & Diploma in Legal Practice.
  • Ability to carry out tasks within a broad property-based remit and manage a demanding workload with minimal supervision.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
Experience
  • Essential: Conveyancing and property law experience.
  • Beneficial but not essential: Experience and knowledge of projects and construction law.
