Job description

We are a progressive legal firm with a well-established presence across the South of England and South Wales. We are currently conducting a confidential search for a Senior Solicitor (Private Client) to join our team. This is a fully remote position. The successful candidate will take on a leading role in the delivery of high-quality legal advice and documents to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Advise on and manage a varied caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, estate administration, and especially lifetime trusts and will trusts.
  2. Draft and review legal instruments such as lifetime trust deeds, deeds of variation, and declarations of trust.
  3. Oversee residential conveyancing matters related to settling residential properties into wills and lifetime trusts.
  4. Support training and development as required.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Minimum of 5 years PQE in private client practice, with experience in wills, tax, estate planning, and probate.
  2. Strong knowledge of trusts, especially in creation, administration, and variation.
  3. Expertise in legal drafting of wills, lifetime trusts, and estate planning structures.
  4. Ability to manage caseloads independently and efficiently with excellent attention to detail.
  5. Familiarity with case management systems and digital document platforms.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
