The Role:
As a Senior Licensing Lawyer, you will provide expert legal guidance on licensing applications, cases related to hospitality, gambling, highway matters, and more. You will act as a Legal Advisor to Licensing Sub-Committees, defend licensing appeals, and handle judicial reviews and tribunal cases. Your responsibilities include drafting legal decisions, preparing statements, and advising on law and evidence.

About You:
You are a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of CILEx with at least five years of relevant experience. You have extensive knowledge of licensing legislation, regulations, and procedures, including the Licensing Act, Gambling Act, and others. You are skilled in working with council members, communicating complex legal issues, and working independently or in teams. You are diplomatic, influential, detail-oriented, and committed to public service.
