Job summary

Luton Borough Council is seeking a Senior Solicitor to join the Contracts and Procurement team. You will conduct and manage a mixed caseload of commercial contracts, procurement and governance work for the Council and its clients.

You will advise at all levels with a focus on delivering efficient, pragmatic legal services, working under pressure with minimal supervision, and bringing substantial post-qualification experience in the public sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial contracts and procurement.
• Public sector/local government context preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
