The Role: Senior Associate (Commercial & Tech Law)

They are seeking an ambitious Senior Associate to join the Commercial and Tech team, working directly with Senior Management. This is a career-defining opportunity, offering a clear pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

The role is diverse and intellectually stimulating, requiring a hands-on approach and strong commercial acumen. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of matters, including:

1. Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts and corporate transactions
2. Advising on technology contracts (licensing and development agreements)
3. Handling distribution arrangements, franchising, and outsourcing
4. Providing strategic intellectual property and brand protection advice
5. Assisting clients with contentious IP matters, including copyright and trademark infringement

The Ideal Candidate

You will have the following skills and experience:

1. Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with significant PQE in commercial law
2. Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
3. Strong understanding of tech and digital matters, particularly IP and brand protection
4. Ability to work autonomously while receiving partner-level support
5. Experience managing client relationships and providing commercially focused advice
6. Ambition to progress within a highly respected firm with a fast track to partnership
