The Opportunity We are seeking an exceptional Senior Solicitor or Head of Department to lead and develop their thriving Commercial Property practice. Key Responsibilities

Legal Excellence:

  • Handle complex commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, development projects, and refinancing
  • Manage landlord and tenant matters, lease negotiations, rent reviews, and portfolio management
  • Advise on real estate investment transactions, joint ventures, and structured property deals
  • Provide strategic counsel on planning law, environmental issues, and regulatory compliance
Leadership & Management:
  • Lead and mentor a growing team of property lawyers and support staff
  • Drive business development initiatives and maintain key client relationships
  • Contribute to the firm's strategic direction and growth objectives
  • Ensure the highest standards of client service and fee recovery
Client Development:
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, property developers, and investors
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities with other practice areas
  • Represent the firm at networking events and industry functions
Essential Requirements
  • Qualification: Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in commercial property law
  • Experience: Proven track record handling high-value, complex commercial property transactions
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive business growth
  • Client Following: Established relationships with quality clients preferred
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of commercial property law, including development, investment, and occupational matters
  • Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and fee-earning capability
