Highlights

Salary of up to £50,000 - £60,000, with benefits and bonus.

Basic hours are Monday – Friday 08:00-16:00, with additional hours and overnight stays as required.

We seek a motivated Senior Electrician (QS) to oversee commercial and domestic Solar PV installations, leading a team of 5 electricians, reporting to the Operations Director. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, focusing on project execution, safety, and quality standards across UK sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and advise on technical design and procurement.
• Lead training and recruitment for the electrical team.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Coordinate logistics and materials with the office.
• Oversee installation completion, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
• Inspect installations and resolve technical issues.
• Communicate with clients and maintain documentation.
• Support team efforts and travel across UK sites.

Requirements

Extensive NICEIC or NAPIT registered electrician experience, with MCS certification in solar PV preferred. Proven leadership in Solar PV systems, knowledge of brands like SolarEdge, and higher electrical qualifications (Level 3 NVQ, HNC/HND, AM2, Inspection & Testing) are essential.
