Job Title: Senior Software Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Tester who specializes in software quality assurance and manual testing. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and supporting software testing for advanced inspection tools within the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing and HIL testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software.
• Utilize Python and PowerShell scripts to validate hardware and configure software.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Blade Inspection Tool (BIT) version 2.4, both hardware and software, to support testing and validation efforts.
• Maintain and support existing QA scripts, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
• Provide hyper care support for field issues post-release and assist in the production of setting up new kits and upgrading existing customer kits.
• Support existing fielded kits with legacy software and assist in the production process for new kits.
• Standardize and document all existing QA processes to ensure consistency and clarity.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in manual testing and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
• Experience with Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Comfortable with testing hardware, particularly in an end-to-end testing environment.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance processes and documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and AI analytics processes is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and data management.
