Job summary

Digital Waffle is hiring a Senior Software Test Engineer to shape quality across modern digital products. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams from the earliest development stages to deliver reliable, secure, and accessible software.

You will design and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and integration layers, expand regression coverage, and promote risk-based testing, security testing, and WCAG compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
• Strong experience with test automation across UI, API, and integration testing.
• Experience testing web applications, SaaS platforms, or customer-facing digital products.
• Practical experience with performance testing.
• Hands on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, and REST Assured.
• Strong understanding of modern quality engineering and risk-based testing approaches.
• Knowledge of security testing principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated tests across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Increase automated regression coverage to enable faster releases.
• Champion best practices and shape quality standards across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define testable requirements and identify risks early.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing where it delivers value.
• Provide clear, risk-based recommendations to support release decisions.
• Contribute to security focused testing and WCAG accessibility testing.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tooling, and overall product quality.
