Draken is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer in Hurn, Dorset. The role focuses on system architecture, requirements management, integration, verification and validation rather than software development.
You will work within an Integrated Delivery Team to deliver safe, high-quality software-enabled mission systems. The position involves developing requirements, designs and interfaces, and collaborating with customers, suppliers and internal teams to meet operational and business needs.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Systems Engineer to join the Draken Chief Technology Officer team, supporting a range of internal and customer projects involving software-intensive and mission-critical systems. This is a Systems Engineering role focused on system architecture, requirements management, integration, verification and validation, rather than software development.
You will play a key role in defining and managing software-enabled system capabilities, supporting activities such as requirements capture, system design, interface definition, integration, testing and through-life support. Working as part of an Integrated Delivery Team (IDT), you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to deliver safe, high-quality solutions that meet operational and business requirements.
