Areti Group has partnered with a technology agnostic company who are URGENTLY looking to add to their rapidly growing software engineering team BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR! Our client has offices based throughout the UK and gives the option of being office-based or FULLY REMOTE working for this role.

Salary range is £55k - £80k depending on experience - Mid-Senior & Principal Level Engineers required - Plus an amazing benefits package!!

Role

As a Software Engineer, you will join one of our small, fast-paced, agile delivery teams; using agile methodology and DevOps techniques to build backend systems, data processing pipelines, and progressive web apps for customers in the UK Government and Defense sector.

This means that you will have SC Clearance or be able to obtain SC Clearance - To qualify for this role you must be a British Citizen who holds a British Passport and has lived/worked in the UK for the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Implementing software solutions including design, development and testing.
• Use a wide range of technologies, specialising in the use of open source libraries and components.
• Use tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, which help monitor and ensure software quality and security.
• Work within a mixture of environments - (AWS and Azure) and private cloud.
• Full Software Lifecycle involvement: project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; software architecture design; software implementation and delivery; software training and support and software lifecycle and maintenance.
