Our Warehouse is a state-of-the-art 2.5m sq ft Distribution Centre in Shirebrook, one of the UK's most advanced warehouses. We seek individuals passionate about continuous improvement and innovation.

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team, playing a key role in our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O WMS project, transforming warehousing and fulfillment operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with leads and architects to develop scalable solutions using Dynamics 365 F&O and Microsoft platform.
  • Configuring and customizing Dynamics modules relevant to supply chain and retail.
  • Developing custom solutions with X++ / C# for system integrations.
  • Building applications with modern technologies like Azure, Power Platform, and Fabric.
  • Designing and extending database functionalities with SQL Server, NoSQL (Cosmos DB).
  • Implementing modern engineering principles such as microservices, API-first, event-driven systems.
  • Creating technical documentation and participating in code reviews.
  • Mentoring peers and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Supporting existing systems during platform transition and building integrations.

We offer a flexible hybrid work model: 2 days remote, 3 days onsite in Shirebrook. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience with C# and modern software engineering.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Dynamics 365 F&O / Azure.
  • Strong skills in C# / X++ and building scalable solutions with Azure.
  • Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL, event-driven architectures, and modern engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello.

Desirable skills include CI/CD tooling, Kafka, Power Platform, data migration tools, front-end frameworks, and Oracle PL-SQL.
