Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our UK Money Movement team. You will work on developing and maintaining payment system integrations such as FPS and Bacs, as well as Open Banking services. Your work will focus on reducing risk, enhancing resilience, and enabling new features in GBP, the most mature currency in our portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve payment system integrations
• Collaborate with banking and payment operations teams to automate workflows
• Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements

Qualifications:

• Strong product mindset with customer focus and data-driven decision making
• Excellent communication skills and sense of ownership
• Proficiency in Java, Spring framework, and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational databases, query optimization, and schema design
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with system integration patterns
