Job summary

JPMorganChase in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Treasury/Chief Investment Office (T/CIO) Corporate Technology team. You will contribute as a seasoned agile developer to build secure, scalable market-leading technology.

You will develop components for trade execution and management, apply AI-assisted coding tools, and deliver high-quality production code with strong testing and security.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and using AI-assisted software development tools with secure coding practices.
• Understanding of secure handling of inputs/outputs and knowledge of CI/CD, resiliency and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops, enhances and supports our Trade Execution Platform, critical to trading and business activities.
• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to solve complex problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms with proper testing.
• Leverages AI coding tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity; participates in peer reviews and secure coding.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value realization.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and drive continuous improvement.
