SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

• Our simulation and training company client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team.
• Up to £65,000 per annum + benefits.
• Hybrid working: 3 days per week onsite in Lincoln.
• Technologies include C++, C#, VR Suite, MACE, VBS4, X-Plane.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

My client is a simulation and training company delivering training in fixed wing, rotary wing, and maritime environments to military and civil customers worldwide. This role requires security clearance, so you must have been a permanent UK resident for the last 5 years.

THE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE:

This is a hands-on technical role, providing support and guidance to a team of 8 engineers. You’ll lead the design and development of complex simulation, modelling, and training solutions within the defence and commercial aviation sectors. You will also contribute to defining coding standards and oversee DevOps and GitHub management.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER SKILLS:

• C++ and/or C#
• VR Suite, MACE, VBS4, X-Plane
• DIS/HLA
• Unity 3D and/or Unreal Engine
