Job summary

Copello Global Ltd. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop secure, scalable software solutions within a highly secure environment.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to shape architecture, standards and delivery, tackling challenging problems and driving continuous improvement across the lifecycle. You will mentor engineers, contribute to technical direction and promote best practices while translating complex requirements into practical solutions in a Linux

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and developing complex software solutions.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.
• Experience with software testing methodologies, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Strong programming skills, with experience using multiple languages and technologies within a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of software architecture, development standards and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust, secure and scalable software solutions.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical decision-making and engineering standards.
• Translate complex technical requirements into effective software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and promote good software development practices.
• Support continuous improvement across development processes, tools and deployment approaches.
• Apply appropriate testing methodologies to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
• Support and mentor other engineers, sharing knowledge and encouraging best practice.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and improve existing systems.
