Job summary

Permutable.AI is building real-time AI systems that transform global data into market intelligence for financial institutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build backend services, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure with end-to-end production ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python production experience.
• Deep AWS experience (EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda).
• Distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Production ownership from design to deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Python backend services and APIs.
• Develop real-time event-driven architecture and distributed workflows.
• Build AI agent-driven workloads with state management and routing.
• Scale cloud platform across AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Docker, RDS/PostgreSQL and S3.
• Operate NLP/LLM workloads with GPU infrastructure as needed.
• Own testing, deployment, monitoring and reliability.
• Automate delivery with Pulumi/Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Improve observability with logging, tracing and alerting.
