Job summary

Permutable.AI is building real-time AI systems that transform global data into market intelligence for financial institutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build backend services, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure with end-to-end production ownership.

You will work directly with our founder and engineering team to influence architecture and technology decisions, own testing, deployment, monitoring and reliability, and push toward a real-time, event‑driven and

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong Python production experience.
Deep AWS experience (EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda).
Distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Production ownership from design to deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain Python backend services and APIs.
Develop real-time event-driven architecture and distributed workflows.
Build AI agent-driven workloads with state management and routing.
Scale cloud platform across AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Docker, RDS/PostgreSQL and S3.
Operate NLP/LLM workloads with GPU infrastructure as needed.
Own testing, deployment, monitoring and reliability.
Automate delivery with Pulumi/Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Improve observability with logging, tracing and alerting.
