Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen the Quality Engineering foundation across SDK teams. You’ll work on automation, CI/CD, tooling, test strategy, diagnostics, reporting, and engineering practices that help teams bake quality into every release.

You’ll need a strong testing mindset, good technical judgement, and the ability to turn broad quality goals into practical engineering outcomes across Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for SDK build, test, validation, and release workflows.
• Develop Python-based automation and tooling for test orchestration, diagnostics, reporting, and quality visibility.
• Create, maintain, and improve automated tests across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end levels.
• Apply a testing mindset to engineering problems, identify risks, and improve observability.
• Influence design, implementation, testability, diagnostics, and release confidence to bake quality in early.
• Investigate issues across build, test, deployment, and execution environments; improve workflows to detect and prevent issues.
• Support Linux and Windows development environments, including cross‑platform scripting and debugging.
• Use quality metrics and reporting to improve visibility and guide test strategy.
• Collaborate with SDK teams to align on initiatives and turn goals into actionable work.
