Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen the Quality Engineering foundation across SDK teams. You will focus on automation, CI/CD, tooling, and test strategy to raise quality, reliability, and delivery across multiple platforms.

You will help teams identify risk, design useful test approaches, improve developer feedback loops, and build tools that make quality easier to achieve.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates practical engineering work that improves quality, confidence and delivery.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD, and test tooling.
• Strong testing mindset with ability to identify risks and design practical test approaches.
• Comfortable learning unfamiliar tech areas and applying new knowledge to quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting SDK build, test, validation and release workflows.
• Develop Python-based automation for test orchestration, diagnostics, reporting and quality visibility.
• Create and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, system and end-to-end levels.
• Apply testing mindset to engineering problems; identify risks and improve observability.
• Influence design, implementation, testability, diagnostics and release confidence.
• Investigate issues across build, test, deployment and execution environments; improve workflows.
• Support Linux and Windows development environments, including cross-platform scripting and debugging.
• Use test frameworks and quality metrics to improve visibility and strategy.
