Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Senior Software Engineer for TorchTPU in London. You will lead AI framework work, optimize PyTorch on TPUs/GPUs, and collaborate across teams on large-scale ML systems.

You will design and implement performance-focused software, mentor engineers, and drive projects from inception to delivery in a fast-paced environment. In-person interviews are typical; English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, C, or Python).
• Experience in leading cross-functional software oriented projects from inception to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work on AI framework development to enable PyTorch models on TPUs/GPUs and tune for peak performance.
• Provide comprehensive support for ML frameworks and compilers on Cloud TPUs and GPUs for training and deployment.
• Enable PyTorch models at massive scale for generative models, CV, machine translation, language modeling, rankings and recommendations, speech recognition, etc.
• Collaborate with other Google teams and researchers to bring ML capabilities to PyTorch-in-Cloud offering.
