Job summary

Free-Work is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-profile Life Sciences project. You will work on complex applications using Python and Java, with ML exposure, alongside an existing team in Central London and Oxford.

Remote work is acceptable for the foreseeable future. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of experience, may hold a PhD in Computer Science ( MSc acceptable), and security clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of proven software development experience.
• Strong Python and Java expertise with ML exposure.
• Experience delivering complex applications; Go is a plus.
• Life Sciences domain experience preferred.
• Security clearance ideal.

Responsibilities
