Job summary

Propel is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who has embraced AI as part of their engineering toolkit, not just prompt-based work. You will build production AI-powered software in Python for complex B2B SaaS products where correctness matters, across fintech, regtech, cybersecurity, healthtech, or similar domains.

You will own features end-to-end—from architecture to deployment—collaborating with product to solve real customer problems, while upholding testing and observability as core

Qualifications

• Experience building production AI-powered software in Python.
• Familiar with end-to-end ownership from architecture to deployment.
• Background in complex B2B SaaS domains (fintech/regtech/cybersecurity/healthtech).
• Strong focus on correctness, testing, observability and reliability.
• Ability to ship customer-facing features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Build production AI-powered products in Python.
• Own features end-to-end from architecture through deployment.
• Solve complex business problems where reliability and correctness matter.
• Investigate production issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Use Claude, Codex or Cursor to move faster while ensuring code quality.
