Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) in Cambridge to develop a new Greenfield product for AI-powered cybersecurity. You will primarily build backend Python services, with occasional use of Rust, TypeScript, or C++, in a rapid, iterative environment.

The role requires advanced Python backend expertise, strong problem solving, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Hybrid work with Cambridge office presence twice weekly is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python backend software development experience.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to rapid development cycles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Some experience with Rust, TypeScript and/or C++.
• Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Degree in a STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Work on a new Greenfield product to combat AI-based security threats.

Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Python) Cambridge to £80k

Do you have strong backend Python software development experience?

As a Senior Software Engineer within the R&D team you’ll work on a new Greenfield product to combat the threat of AI based security attacks. You’ll work on a range of complex and interesting projects from rapid prototyping ofnew ideasto the structured development of existing platforms, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

You’ll be mainly working with backend Python but also with Rust and emerging technologies, using the right tool for the job in a rapid development environment, with lots of problem solving and iteration.

Location / WFH:
