Client Server in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join the R&D team, delivering high-performance backend services and contributing to a greenfield platform for defending against AI-powered cyber threats.

You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, taking ideas from rapid prototypes to robust, production-ready systems while exploring Rust and other modern technologies. This role offers ownership and continuous learning in a fast-paced setting.

Senior Python Developer / Software Engineer Cambridge to £80k

Are you a senior backend Python Developer looking to work on technology at the forefront of AI and cyber security?

You could be progressing your career at one of the world's leading cyber security technology companies, where you'll help develop next generation software that protects organisations from increasingly sophisticated AI driven cyber threats.

As a Senior Python Developer within the R&D team, you'll play a key role in the development of a Greenfield platform designed to defend against emerging AI powered attacks. Working in a highly collaborative engineering environment, you'll take ideas from rapid prototypes through to robust, production ready systems, helping to shape both the product and the underlying technology.

You’ll primarily develop high-performance backend services in Python, while also having the opportunity to work with Rust and other modern technologies, choosing the right tools to solve complex engineering challenges. The role offers plenty of scope for technical ownership, innovation and continuous learning within a fast paced R&D environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys tackling difficult technical problems, exploring emerging technologies and building software with real-world impact alongside some of the industry's most talented engineers.
