Job Description:

Are you a Software Engineer with experience of Travel GDS/PSS systems? If so, this might be the role for you!

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a high-quality, continuous improvement, and product-focused mindset who enjoys working as part of a team. The role involves working in full-stack engineering teams, transforming our platform to be software as a service, and developing next-generation products for the Airline e-commerce marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technically hands-on including estimating, designing, coding, and debugging.
• Providing third-line engineering support to our customers.
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Collaborating with quality and performance engineers.

Technical Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

• Essential: Airline GDS or PSS integration experience using Sabre, Amadeus, SITA, Travelport, Galileo, Worldspan, Apollo, Abacus, Pegasus, TravelSky, Radixx, Navitaire, or a bespoke airline PSS/backend system with strong knowledge of PNRs and complex flight booking structures.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Java development, Web Services, and object-oriented principles.
• Solid experience in developing highly available and scalable applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; quick learner.
• Desirable: Degree in Computing or Science.
• Good understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, and Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).
