Job summary

IDBS, part of Danaher, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain shared microservices and core platform infrastructure across product teams. You’ll own lifecycle—from architecture to deployment, with emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.

You’ll work with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Serverless, Terraform and Kubernetes; bonus if you know Jenkins, React or Python. Flexible/hybrid work options are available to support collaboration and impact.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern cloud architectures.
• Experience with DevOps practices and platform engineering including CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability.
• Knowledge of regulated/validated environments like GxP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain shared microservices and core platform infrastructure.
• Own architecture, implementation, deployment, monitoring and ongoing operational support.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and easy for teams to adopt.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver outcomes.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to onboarding and open-source/security initiatives.
