We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Node/Vue/TypeScript) - Remote Europe for one of our clients, working remotely from Europe.

This role involves building and enhancing a cutting-edge book editing tool, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver new features. Your work will help authors create beautiful, professional books for print and e-readers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll take ownership of the full development process, from design to deployment, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy new features for a collaborative word processor.
• Enhance the platform's features to improve user experience for authors and freelancers.
• Architect and develop highly scalable web applications using NodeJS, VueJS, and TypeScript.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and security in production.
• Own tasks and deliver features from conception to completion.
• Participate in code reviews and team practice improvements.

Requirements:

• Experience with NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Proficiency in test-driven development and writing maintainable, high-quality code.
• Fluency in English and effective communication skills in a remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for great user experiences.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in Europe.
