About the role

We are looking for a Senior back-end Engineer to join our UK Engineering team. Our back-end engineers work in multi-disciplinary teams with other back-end and front-end engineers, DevOps, product managers, UX and designers to build innovative products that are used by people all over the globe.

They move fast and use progressive practices like automated deployments and continuous delivery to release every day, multiple times a day, and use cutting-edge technology to create products that make good things happen.

What we need you to bring

• .NET Core development experience – around 4-5 years
• Deep understanding of OO & SOLID principles
• Proven track record of building high-performing and reliable systems
• Experience developing code within a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
• Familiarity with best practices and architectures (e.g., DDD, Event-Driven Architecture, TDD/BDD, REST, SOA/micro-services, CQRS)
• An appreciation of the open-source ecosystem
• Good understanding of continuous integration systems, e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of agile principles, practices, and patterns
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Containerization experience (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a significant bonus
