About the role

We are looking for a Senior back-end Engineer to join our UK Engineering team. Our back-end engineers work in multi-disciplinary teams with other back-end and front-end engineers, DevOps, product managers, UX and designers to build innovative products used worldwide.

They move fast, using progressive practices like automated deployments and continuous delivery to release multiple times a day, utilizing cutting-edge technology to create impactful products.

What we need you to bring

• .NET Core development experience – around 4-5 years
• Deep understanding of OO & SOLID principles
• Proven track record of building high-performing and reliable systems
• Experience developing code within a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
• Familiarity with best practices and architectures (e.g., DDD, Event-Driven Architecture, TDD/BDD, REST, SOA/micro-services, CQRS)
• An appreciation of the open-source ecosystem
• Good understanding of continuous integration systems, e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of agile principles, practices, and patterns
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Containerization experience (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
