Let me start with a snapshot of the role:

Role: Senior Software Engineer (AI product)

Stack: TypeScript, RoR, GraphQL, PostgreSQL

Note: Most of the engineering team didn't know RoR before joining, so no worries if you don't — willingness to learn is key.

Location: London, Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Salary: Up to £120k + strong equity

Their product is excellent, but it's time to modernize and stay ahead of the curve. They are seeking a strong SWE with a passion for AI to help them on this journey. You could be an LLM expert, have scaled AI products, or created personal projects — the key is your passion for everything Gen AI.

In this role, you'll work alongside the CTO to build out three core features and iterate new ideas on implementing AI within the product. You'll also act as an AI evangelist across the business, exploring ways to enhance best practices.

This role will involve communicating with various stakeholders, so strong people skills are a bonus.
