E.ON is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Solihull to lead the design, build, and optimisation of digital solutions within the nBS Digital Solutions team. This permanent role supports hybrid working and requires expertise across full stack development and governance.

You will mentor developers, drive innovation, and ensure high-quality application delivery with a focus on scalable, future-ready platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building successful, low-maintenance enterprise applications and digital solutions.
• Strong software design and programming skills with a range of languages and Microsoft .NET stack.
• Experience mentoring developers in AI-assisted prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop new digital solutions meeting product backlog requirements as lead developer.
• Provide high-quality support and maintenance ensuring performance and SLAs.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of change projects and collaborate with third-party developers.
• Manage environments including hosting, access and security.
• Continuously learn to develop skills in solution platforms and techniques.
• Mentor the developer team and manage escalations professionally.
