Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Senior Quant Model Engineer to join the Pricing team, delivering production-grade services for a high‑volume sportsbook. You will lead on building, deploying, and optimizing low-latency quant models and data products within a microservice architecture.

You should have 5+ years SWE experience, strong Java (or C#), hands-on delivery, and the ability to translate architecture docs into deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial SWE experience focused on low-latency microservices
• Excellent Java skills, or similar languages (C#), with high-quality, well-documented code
• Experience with architectures and systems to solve new challenges
• Ability to translate GAP/Architecture documents into deliverables
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholders
• Growth mindset with ability to learn new tools quickly
• Mentoring and collaboration with junior engineers

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade technical solutions to business requirements using appropriate design patterns
• Refine requirements based on technical expertise and domain knowledge
• Build robust APIs and streaming interfaces for access to pricing models and data products
• Champion SWE best practices for testing, observability, CI/CD, and automation
• Critique solutions and code of peers constructively
• Coordinate with Pricing Engineering managers to plan delivery of workstreams
• Promote team contributions through collaboration, reports, and presentations
