Job summary

ECM Selection in Royston is seeking a senior or mid-level software engineer to join our established scientific instrument team. The role focuses on designing and developing data collection and analysis software for proprietary biotechnologies.

You will work on instrument control, embedded software debugging, and testing across Windows and Linux, with opportunities to apply C#, MVVM, C++, Python, and TypeScript in a collaborative, onsite setting near Royston.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or related discipline.
• Proven industry project experience delivering hardware-related instrumentation software.
• Strong programming skills: C#, MVVM, and C++.
• Experience with Windows and Linux application software.
• Python and TypeScript experience is advantageous.
• Image processing, Java, or machine learning desirable.
• Role is fully onsite at Royston offices.
• We cannot offer sponsorship for work visas.
