Nuclera is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Instrument team in the UK. You will drive full lifecycle software development for prototypes, products and support tools, including embedded Linux systems, real-time control and monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing and field service.

You will contribute to project planning, risk management and quality assurance while expanding your skills across additional languages and possibly electronics work.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• 5+ years of full lifecycle development for multi-technology products.
• Experience with life science equipment/medical devices is a plus.
• Proficient in C for STM32 and Raspberry Pi Pico 2, Python 3, Bash.
• Experience with Embedded Linux / Yocto, Docker.
• Development with Git / Gitlab / CI/CD, Jira.
• Software quality practices: coding standards, static analysis, testing (unit/integration), hardware-in-the-loop.
• Knowledge of real-time control and monitoring in embedded systems/electronics.
• Excellent initiative, problem-solving, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure quality through standards, reviews, testing and validation.
• Provide primary support for manufacturing and field issues for current generation instrument.
