Job summary

DeepL is seeking a Backend Engineer to own the Identity Experience End-to-End, architecting and delivering secure authentication and authorisation features. You will work across the Identity stack, ensuring reliability, scalable design, and collaboration with Product Management and Support.

You will contribute across the stack, using C#/.NET Core, Kubernetes, and Postgres to ship high-quality, user-centric identity solutions for internal and external users.

Qualifications

• Own Identity Experience End-to-End including architecture, deployment and reliability.
• Build for consumer-grade enterprise authentication and authorization.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Support to solve hard product challenges.
• Proficient with C#/.NET Core, Kubernetes and Postgres.

You will join the Identity and Access Management team . Owning DeepL's full identity stack: organisation, account and session management, SSO federation, SCIM provisioning, and the OIDC provider, for both internal and external users. It is the foundation every DeepL product relies on to authenticate and authorise users securely and at scale. When identity is unavailable, no one can log in, so reliability and performance sit at the heart of everything the team does.
